The Program
Therapeutic Connections School of Massage offers a 560 hour, ten month
“Professional Massage Therapist Program.”
Students will receive a “diploma” and become a “Certified Massage Therapist” at the end of this program.
After graduation, students will take the National Certification Exam (or state approved exam) and apply through the Department of Health to become licensed in the State of Washington.
Course material will include: Practice and Theory of Massage, Musculoskeletal, Systems of the Human Body, Business/Marketing, and Pathology. Students will practice massage skills through out the year on each other and on people of the community (guest clients and student clinic).
The School
Therapeutic Connections School of Massage is located on the South Hill of Spokane, Washington. In a quiet neighborhood, the TCSM classroom is in a shared building with City Yoga. The space is currently being renovated and we excitedly wait for the new renovations to be complete. With 500 square feet of open space, it allows students to move comfortably around the massage tables, to encourage excellent body mechanics. Students can easily access the school from I-90, downtown or from the north end of Spokane.
The Faculty
Rebecca Dragseth has taught in public schools, college classrooms and spent ten years coaching competitive gymnastics. In 2007, she expanded her business from full time massage therapist to owner/instructor of “Therapeutic Connections School of Massage.” She received her bachelors in Education in 1996 and became a licensed massage therapist in 1999. Continuing education in the field of massage, energy and bodywork has inspired her to continue her dream of sharing information and knowledge in the evolving world of massage therapy. She has a passion for learning and teaching about the human body and is excited to share and exchange with her community.
